SANAA, Jun. 17 (YPA) – Nigeria’s Boko Haram group on Thursday revealed the death of its historic leader, Abubakar Shekau, who was killed in battle with ISIS in West Africa.
AFP 24 reported on Thursday morning that Boko Haram confirmed in a video message to Khalifa Abubakar Shekau that the latter was killed during the battle with ISIS in West Africa on The 6th of this Month.
Bakora Modo, Boko Haram’s new leader, appeared to address his followers, saying: “Teac the infidels lessons in the courtyards to work that the imam, may God rest his soul and make him one of the masters of martyrs, left no girls but men.”
The same group had already confirmed the death of its leader, Abubakar Shekau, 10 days after THE LEADER OF ISIS in West Africa, Abu Musab al-Barnawi, announced in an audio recording that Abu Bakr had committed suicide by blowing himself up, so as not to fall into ISIS captivity, when Al-Barnawi sent fighters into Boko Haram’s pocket in the Sambisa forest, at which time they found the Shekau and clashed with him, before committing suicide, fearing that he would fall into the hands of ISIS.
