HODEIDAH, June 1 (YPA) – The Yemen Army has besieged hundred of UAE-backed armed southern forces since Thursday evening in Taif village of Durihami district on Hodiedah province, field sources told Yemen Press Agency on Friday.
The siege came after the supply lines of the southern froces were cut off in Nakheila area, the sources added.
The Yemeni army forces advanced towards the villages of Shajira, located in the outskirts of Durahmi west of Hodeidah, said the sources.
The UAE-backed armed militias forced hundreds of Taif residents and villages nearby clashes areas to displace on Thursday to Drehemi, the sources added.
