US senators call on Biden to take immediate action to lift blockade of Yemen

SANAA, May 22 (YPA) – US Senator Elizabeth Warren and 15 other members have called on President Joe Biden to use all diplomatic means, including suspending arms sales, military cooperation to end the Saudi coalition’s blockade of Yemen, and allowing fuel ships to enter Hodeidah port.

Bloomberg quoted members’ letter to President Biden as saying that “an immediate and decisive action must be taken to end the ongoing blockade of fuel imports that is exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.”
