Shoes thrown at Hadi’s Prime Minster convoy in Mukalla

MUKALLA, April 30 (YPA) -The convoy of the prime minister of  “Hadi government” on Friday was attacked in the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadhramaut province, eastern Yemen.

Stones and shoes were thrown at the car of Hadi’s prime minster in the center of the city.

Activists on social media, circulated a video footage  showing angry youths intercepting the convoy of Hadi’s prime minster Moeen Abdul Malik, and Hadhramaut Governor Faraj al-Bahsani, and threw them with stones and “shoes”.

Activists said protesters chanted slogans against the presence of Hadi’s prime minister, demanding that he leave the city.

This comes after the city of Mukalla has witnessed angry protests over the past month as a result of the collapse of living and service conditions, particularly the deterioration of electricity since the past years.
