Armed ambush targets military convoy in Marib

MARIB, March 18 (YPA) – An armed ambush targeted on Thursday a military convoy belonging to coalition’s troops led to casualties, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources affirmed that the military convoy included four cars, armored vehicle and two military vehicles belonging to the military police were ambushed by unknown gunmen on al-Ebr line.

The sources confirmed that the convoy was exposed to a barrage of bullets and RPGs what led to casualties among coalition’s forces.

The sources declared that coalition forces, with reservations, disclosing who was in the convoy, and the number of dead and wounded, while no party has claimed responsibility for the attack.
