Sanaa forces retake areas in Taiz, inflicting coalition heavy losses

TAIZ, March 17 (YPA) – The army forces backed the popular committees (Sanaa forces) on Wednesday regained control over several sites in Taiz province, during military operations that caused heavy losses to Saudi-led coalition forces.

A military source said that units of the army and the popular committees managed to repel several large attacks of the coalition forces in ‘Al-Kadaha’ area in Taiz.

The coalition forces sustained heavy losses in lives and military equipment during the confrontations, the source added.

In this regard, the military media published scenes showing the course of the military operations and the escape of the coalition recruits from the battlefield, leaving their weapons, equipment, and the bodies of their dead.
