US deaths in 2020 top 3 million

SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – US press reports revealed on Thursday that the death rate in the United States witnessed a record increase in 2020, making it the bloodiest in the country’s history.
According to a report published by “Politico” newspaper, citing two senior administration officials, the death rate in the United States jumped by 15% in 2020.
According to officials, the United States has not recorded an increase in the number of deaths like this year since 1918, when hundreds of thousands of people died from the Spanish flu in the midst of World War I.
The officials considered that 2020 is the deadliest year in the history of the United States, as more than 3 million people died of various causes, including nearly half a million due to Corona.
