Staff of Bin Khaldoun Hospital protest non-payment of salary in Lahj

LAHJ, March 04 (YPA) – Employees of Bin Khaldoun Hospital in Lahj province on Wednesday staged a protest over the non-payment of their financial dues and the economic collapse .

The protesters said the delay in their salaries has compound their suffering, particularly with rising prices and the collapse of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies.

Protesters blamed Hadi’s “government” for the continuing non-payment of salaries, the collapse of the economic and living situation that has plagued citizens for six years.

Aden and Hadhramaut provinces are witnessing angry demonstrations and widespread public discontent, denouncing the economic collapse, rising prices and the deterioration of social services.
