SANAA, March 3 (YPA) – Sudanese media reported on Tuesday that 10 people were killed in a passenger plane crash in South Sudan.
The commercial plane crashed in South Sudan shortly after taking off from Jonglei state, as it was heading to the capital, Juba.
“Anadolu”, the English version, quoted the director of Juba International Airport, Kor Koyo, as saying: “We fear many deaths in a plane crash in southern Sudan.”
Koyo noted that the plane crashed shortly after take-off, noting that there is no communication network available at the site of the accident and that counting the victims is still not possible.
