ADEN, Feb. 23 (YPA) – A southern politician and academician on Tuesday called for a popular uprising in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen.
The academician at the University of Aden, and head of the so-called “the Southern Parliament,” Abdulrahman Al-Wali, said “We advise that people go out now to protest against the disasters of electricity, water, oil derivatives and high prices, because summer is coming.”
Al-Wali added, “Legitimacy (Hadi’s government) and the Southern Transitional Council are at their worst, and as for the coalition, it has no media,” noting that the TV satellite channels of the coalition are run from Tel Aviv and sleeping leaders.
