Islah militants redeployed in Abyan

ABYAN, Feb. 15 (YPA) – Military forces loyal to Hadi and al-Islah have redeployed in the Araqoub area of Abyan province in southern Yemen.

The sources said that Hadi’s forces and Islah militants carried out a deployment in the Araqoub area in act that provoked the militias of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), which directed its militia to monitor the movements of Hadi’s forces.

Abyan province divided between Hadi’s forces and the STC militias.

In addition, Islah special forces kidnapped Sunday evening, a member of the local command of the Southern Transitional Council in Ataq district of Shabwah province.

According to local sources, military crews of the Special Forces kidnapped Thabet Abdullah al-Khelaifi from the city of Ataq, and took him to an unknown destination.
