Deputy FM denies issuing decision banning women from working
SANAA, Jan. 31 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Al-Ezzi denied that any official decision had been issued banning women from practicing work.
In a post on his Facebook page, the Deputy Foreign Minister called for investigating credibility and drawing information from its sources.
He explained that in the event that individual actions take place, it represent “a weak reflection of the sediments of the Wahhabi culture, which the opponents have worked to promote over the past decades.”
Al-Ezzi stressed the government’s keenness to control any such practices and hold the perpetrators accountable.
