Cold weather expected, despite slight increase in lower temperatures

SANAA, Jan. 29 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (YPA) expected the cold weather on most of the Yemeni provinces, despite increase in lower temperatures during the next 24 hours.

The center stated in its air bulletin the weather would remain cold in general during the night and early morning hours on the mountain heights of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Hajjah, Mahwiat, Dhalea, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, Hadramout, Jawf and Marib.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, sick people, workers during the night and early morning hours, and farmers to take the necessary precautions against the frost wave.
