SANAA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology warned a widespread dust wave in a number of Yemeni province within coming 24 hours.
The center in its weather forecast that the dust coming from the northeast and central Arabian Peninsula will target the governorates of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Marib, Jawf and Saada.
It pointed out that the effects of the dust might later extend to parts of Bayda, Abyan, Sanaa, Amran and Dhamar and parts of the eastern and southern coasts.
The center expected that the cold weather would prevail over the high parts of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah and Hadramout during the night and early morning hours.
The center also warned citizens of the low temperatures, calling on the elderly, children, sick people and workers during the night and early morning hours to take the necessary precautions from the effects of the cold weather and the dust wave.
