Palestinian wounded in Israeli occupation shelling on Gaza

GAZA, Jan . 20 (YPA) – A Palestinian was injured on Tuesday night by shrapnel during an Israeli occupation  artillery bombardment targeting several positions in the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian news agency Ma’an, Al-Maghazi and al-Barij areas in the center, Beit Hanoun and al-Zaytoun areas in the north, and Khan Yunis in the south were among the areas targeted by the Zionist regime.

Moreover, Israeli artillery shelling caused material damages.

The Israeli army said the shelling was in response to a rocket fired at Israeli settlements from the Gaza Strip.
