NMC warns of cold shocks in theses provinces

SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center warned again on Tuesday citizens, especially the elderly, children and sick people from severe cold shocks during the night and early morning hours in a number of governorates.

The center called for the necessity to take the necessary precautions against the effects of severe cold during the next 24 hours.

The center mentioned that the weather will be cold to very cold on the mountainous heights and the inland plateaus of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Mahweet and Dhalea provinces.

It also pointed out that the weather will be cold in the highland and desert regions of Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Marib and Jawf governorates.
