Cyclone Sagar threatens the province of Al-Mahara

AL-MAHARA, May 22 (YPA) – The tropical cyclone Sagar,on Tuesday is approaching the region between Dhofar province of Oman and parts of Al-Mahara province.

The meteorological and early warning cabinet in Hadharmout province warned all citizens in the provinces of Al-Mahara and in the Island of Socotra, stressing the need to take the necessary precautions to face the storm.

Earlier the day, Socotra island was hit by torrential rain and heavy winds because of the impacts of the cyclone which hits these days Socotra Island and the southern coast of Yemen .
