SANAA, Dec. 9 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, called for a workshop and a code of honor with importers and manufacturers of medicines.
Al-Houthi said in his meeting with the Minister of Health Taha Al-Mutawakel, the executive director of the supreme commission for medicines, Sami Al-Bouani.
Al-Houthi added, “We must all work for the country and have a slogan: No blackmail a citizen, merchant, weakness in quality, or shortage in Services.”
“We are in the stage of technological and scientific development, and merchants must keep pace with this development to compete with other international companies,” he affirmed, stressing the need to pay attention to scientific qualification and specialization in the pharmaceutical industries.”
He stressed the importance of promoting the national pharmaceutical industry to guarantee the achievement of drug security, especially in light of the continuing aggression and blockade imposed on Yemen.
Al-Houthi stressed standing by importers and manufacturers to promote the pharmaceutical industry.
