Coalition opens probe into looting of weapon depots in Marib

MARIB, Nov. 25 (YPA) – Saudi-led Coalition forces on Tuesday called on the Hadi government to open probe into widespread looting of weapons in the Al-Alam front, northeast of Marib city.

According to the sources in Marib province, a chief of staff in Marib, Saghir bin Aziz, has formed a commission to investigate the looting of  weapons from the Al-Alam front stores, including vehicles and medium and light weapons .

Saleh al-Obaidi, a member of the coalition forces in the Al-Nadhoud Front, accused the commander of the coalition soldiers, Major General Faisal Ali Qa’ed, of looting  15 military vehicles.

“Major General Faisal Ali commits a major betrayal by stealing 15 vehicles with their bullets in the fronts of al-Nadhoud, accusing the Obeida tribes of selling them in the arms market and , but the tribes of Obeida deny the accusation and accuse soldiers from Taiz province of stealing them the situation remains tense between them,” al-Obaidi said on his facebook page.
