SANAA, Nov. 13 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) warned citizens and farmers on Friday of the cold wave on most the Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.
The center said in its weather forecast the wave would focused on the mountainous provinces of Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar,Bayda, Saada Dhalea, Ibb, Taiz and Lahj.
It expected that the weather would be clear to partly cloudy during the day, with the possibility of scattered cells of clouds forming on parts of the western highlands.
The center alerted also fishermen and sea-goers in western coast and Bab al-Mandab areas of active winds, and sea waves might reach 2.5 meters.
