SANAA, Nov. 12 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister, Hussein al-Ezzi, discussed on Thursday with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) redoubling efforts and holding responsibilities and duties reduce from the influx of refugees to Yemen.
During his meeting with the National Committee for Refugees, which included the resident representative of the UNHCR office in Yemen, al-Ezzi indicated Yemen’s keenness to fulfill its international obligations in the light of the worsening humanitarian challenges facing Yemen as a result of the military aggression, siege and systematic economic war.
Meanwhile, the UNHCR official affirmed the full commitment of the UNHCR office to support the efforts the competent authorities made to deal with refugees and asylum seekers.
