STC releases political activist after days of torture in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 2 (YPA) – The UAE-backed  southern transitional  Council (STC)’s militias released a political activist after days of torture and enforced disappearance in Aden.

Human rights sources said that activist Nazir Al-Radfani was arrested a week ago by a force from the security belt and taken to an unknown destination.

The sources pointed out that the security belt arrested the activist Al-Radfani for broadcasting a video exposing drug trafficking operation in the city of Aden and the involvement of security leaders of the STC in the process of promoting drugs.

The pro-UAE STC is carrying out abuses against citizens and activists who reject the disastrous situation in Aden, including detention, enforced disappearance, rape and rape in its secret prisons.
