NMC warns citizens of cold weather during next 24 hours

SANAA, Nov. 1 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected on Sunday a decrease in the lowest temperatures during the next 24 hours.

In The weather forecast, the center affirmed that the weather will be cold and dry on the mountainous heights, especially in Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Baydha, Dhalea governorates and highland areas of Ibb, Taiz and Lahj provinces, as well as on parts of deserts and inland plateaus during the night and early morning.

The center also warned the elderly, children and those suffering from chest diseases and workers during the night and early morning hours to take the necessary precautions to prevent cold shocks, and urged farmers to protect their crops.
