Three Yemeni students injured in Moscow

SANAA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – Three Yemeni students were injured on Thursday when Russian police fired tear gas at them in the Russian capital, Moscow, according informed sources.

The sources said that an attack by the police came after the students organized the sit-in outside the Yemeni embassy to demand to pay their financial dues.

The police attack came also at the request of an ambassador from the “Hadi government” Ahmed Al-Wahaishi to intervene to disperse the sit-in.

Meanwhile, the Representative Council of Yemeni Students in Malaysia condemned the attacks on the Yemeni students studying in Russia by officials of the “Hadi government” at the Yemeni Embassy in Moscow, because of their demands for their rights.

Last August, the students organized several protest rallies in front of the embassy in Moscow for demanding to resign Al-Wahaishi, who was accused of insulting and humiliating against them.
