One killed in armed attack in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 13 (YPA) – One person was killed and two others were wounded on Tuesday when unknown gunmen carried out armed an attack in Yemen’s southern province of Aden, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the attack hit the house of the commander of the “4th Military Region” Fadhl Hassan Al-Omari in Enma city of the province, which is under the control of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council militia.

According to the sources, the gunmen on two cars fired bullets at Al-Omari’s house, using light weapons, in the attack, which led also injuring the son of Al-Omari’s sister.

The city of Aden has seen security chaos and conflicts, amid widespread assassinations and kidnappings, since the second half of 2015.
