Iranian official: America is no longer a superpower

SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – The deputy coordinator of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Muhammad Reza Naqdi, attacked the United States.

During a television interview with him, Naqdi said that it is no longer a superpower, adding that America today cannot fight small forces, so how if it wants to fight Iran?

Naqdi said, “They wanted to destroy the Islamic Republic of Iran 41 years ago and they failed. They wanted to destroy Hezbollah 30 years ago and they failed. They tried to destroy Hamas 20 years ago and they failed. They also tried to topple the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad 9 years ago, and their plan failed … also five years ago with the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq.
