Iraqi security arrested 26 terrorists in Nineveh

BAGHDAD, Oct. 3 (YPA) – The Iraqi National Security Forces were able to arrest 26 ISIS terrorists in Nineveh governorate, based on intelligence information, Iraqi security media said on Saturday.

The security media explained in a statement that the arrest was done through setting up ambushes, monitoring and tracking the remnants of the terrorist ISIS gangs.

The statement added that most of the detainees were working in the so-called “the Soldiers’ Office”, and three of them were in the so-called “the Offices of Health, Manufacturing and Training.”

“Their statements were recorded and they all confessed to carrying out many terrorist operations as well as attacking and confronting the security services during the liberation operations,” the statement said.
