Army inflicts coalition’s mercenaries heavy losses in Western-Coast front
HODEIDAH, Oct. 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday inflicted US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries heavy losses in the western-coast front, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources affirmed that the army and popular committees confronted with Tariq Saleh troops and al-Amaliqa brigades, inflicting them heavy casualties and heavy losses in equipment.
The UAE-backed republic guards forces lost Abo Thiab al-Alqami brigade as a result of a failed attack towards Durayhmi district in Hodeidah province, the sources declared.
The army was able to seize the weapons and the brigade’s equipment.
The sources confirmed that the army and popular committees were able to control several sites of coalition’s mercenaries in east and west of Durayhmi district.
