IED blast rocks Ludar city in Abyan

ABYAN, Oct. 4 (YPA) – A strong explosion rocked on Sunday Ludar city in Abyan province, southern Yemen, local sources reported.

Local sources said that the blast was caused by the detonation of an explosive device, without giving details on casualties or losses resulting from the explosion.

This comes after the assassination of a militia leader of Southern Transitional Council, called Salim Jaafar al-Maremi, by unidentified gunmen on Saturday in al-Khadira area in Ludar city.
