10 Nigerian soldiers killed in Boko Haram attack

SANAA, Oc. 1 (YPA ) – At least Ten Nigerian soldiers were killed after Boko Haram militants attacked a military vehicle in the northeast of Nigeria, local media reported.

the attack took place in the area of “Marti” in the state of Borno, in the north-east of the country, where the group targeted a military vehicle that was on a mission “logistics supply, an army source was quoted as saying.

The attack resulted in 10 army deaths, as well as eight injuries, and the burning of a military vehicle, before Boko Haram took its cargo, he added.

Since 2009, Boko Haram violence has killed more than 20,000 people, displaced millions in Nigeria and, since 2015, has launched attacks in neighboring countries such as Cameroon, Chad and Niger.
