Army defeats coalition’s defense forces in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees forces were able on Thursday to defeat US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s defense troops in Marib province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The army’s troops defeated the enemy’s defenses and advanced toward the governmental complex in north of Marib city, the sources said.

The sources declared that the army and popular committees advanced from Madghal district toward the city, inflicting heavy losses to coalition’s mercenaries ranks, while several commanders in coalition’s troops escaped.

Coalition’s mercenaries inflicted heavy losses in lives and their military commander, Ali al-Aqily was killed in al-Kanb area.
