Ahmed al-Raysuni: the UAE and Bahrain normalization with Israel is an unjustified betrayal

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Dr. Ahmad al-Raysuni deemed the UAE and Bahrain normalization with Israel is an unjustified betrayal and a coup against the Arab and Islamic nation.” It embodies baseness of the rulers”.

In an interview with Qatari state-owned al-Jazeera, Dr. Al-Raysuni stressed that the agreement signed by the UAE and Bahrain with Israel serves the interests of the Zionist occupation and supports its crimes against the Palestinian people.

“If there is a benefit from exchanges, agreements and relations, it is aimed at countries other than the state of occupation, rape and criminality, which displace and kill Palestinians and confiscate their property and homes, and commit the most horrible crimes against them in more than 70 years,” said Dr. Al-Raysuni

“I answered questions I heard from some of the supporters of normalization about when was there a state called Palestine?” When was al-Quds the capital? Questions about how long have we had a country called the UAE? And a state called Israel with Tel Aviv as its capital?!. he asked.

“The rulers of the UAE, Bahrain and other countries allied with Israel are just cheap tools in the hands of Tel Aviv and Washington and led by Israeli intelligence, and they think of themselves, their chairs and their thrones that they think Israel will protect,” he added

Bahrain and the UAE signed a normalization agreement with Israel in the middle of this month during a ceremony held at the White House in Washington, in the presence of Us President Donald Trump. Amid widespread popular rejection of the agreement, especially among the peoples of the normalization states themselves.
