Army continues to advance towards Marib

MARIB, Sept. 5 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees continued on Saturday to achieve new victories in their battles with US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries in Marib province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The army forces confronted with coalition’s mercenaries and they were able to take over stratigic areas and advance to center of Rahba district.

The sources declared that the army also was able to repel an infiltration attempt of coalition’s troops and Al-Qaeda elements in surrounds of Maql mountain and al-Tiws fort of Mushairaif valley, inflicting the enemies heavy losses in lives and equipment.

The army and popular committees also were able to clear al-Sadara area and advance towards al-Kawla area.
