TAIZ, Aug. 29 (YPA) – The Islah militias released on Friday two of the most dangerous criminal elements in Taiz province, sources said on Saturday.
The sources said that the Public Prosecutor in the city of Taiz released the Islah leader, “Ghazwan al-Mikhlafi,” due to the lack of criminal evidence against him.
The sources confirmed that the Islah militias freed also Majed Al-Araj, a leader who worked in the Islah ranks, from the Military Police prison in the city.
Ghazwan al-Mikhlafi and Majid al-Araj lead armed gangs that disturbed security and stability in the city of Taiz, through carrying out operations of assassinations, killing, looting and imposing royalties on the markets and shops in the city.
