SHABWA, Aug. 29 (YPA) – The Islah militias have continued to close a number of shops in Ataq city of Shabwa province, for the fourth consecutive day, according to sources on Saturday.
The sources affirmed that the move by the Islah came after their owners shops had refused to pay fees and taxes imposed by the militias.
The sources said that the so-called special forces of the Islah militias illegally shut the shops in city.
Meanwhile, citizens and traders described those actions the arbitrary act against a number of merchants who refused to pay the war effort that led by the militias to cover and support of the battles against the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s fighters in Shaqra district in Abyan governorate.
