Agriculture Ministry discusses aspects related to advancement of agricultural sector

SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – An extended meeting was headed on Saturday by the Minister of Agriculture, Abdul-Malik al-Thawr, to discuss aspects related to advancement of agricultural sector.

At the meeting, al-Thawr stressed on the importance of exerting efforts to pay attention to the agricultural sector and to enhance its role in food security accordance with the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, al-Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi.

The meeting reviewed Al-Houthi’s directives regarding means and plans to benefit from the rains and working on the advancement of the agricultural sector as a step to face the Saudi-led aggression’s blockade imposed on the Yemeni people and to achieving Self-sufficiency of various agricultural crops.
