Most capacity of internet return to service: Telecommunications Corporation

SANAA, Aug. 6 (YPA) – The Public Telecommunications Corporation on Thursday announced the return of most international capacities of the internet to service, after repairing the interruptions that occurred in the national fiber optic network in several provinces due to heavy rains and torrents.

An official source the Corporation explained that the technical teams made exceptional efforts to repair the damaged cables and return them to service.

Hours earlier, the Public Telecommunications Corporation announced that about 65 percent of international internet connections had come out of service in a number of provinces due to sweeping torrents and heavy rains.
