MAHRAH, July 20 (YPA) – The Saudi ambassador to Hadi government , Mohammed al-Jaber, threatened Hadi’s governor of Mahrah, Mohammed Ali Yasser, following the latter’s call for an expanded forum of political forces in the province, informed sources said.
The Saudi ambassador, who asked the governor of Mahrah to come to Riyadh, threatened Yasser with his removal from his post, the sources added.
Al-Jaber called on him to support the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias and Abdullah Issa al-Afarar, who was overthrown by his family, and to fight the committee of the peaceful sit-in led by prominent tribal sheikh Ali Salem al-Harizi, who leads the forces demanding the departure of Saudi forces from the province.
