Tribal Sheikh wounded inside Islah prison in Shabwah

SHABWAH, July 11 (YPA) – A number of tribesmen were injured Saturday after being shot by al-Islah factions inside a detention facility in Azan district of Shabwah province, local sources said.

According to the sources, among the injured was Sheikh Sultan Mohsen Dabi Bin Rashid, who was taken to hospital for treatment.

Members of the 2nd Brigade and the special forces loyal to Islah party opened fire on tribal detainees inside the camp prison in Azan.

The sources said the injured were members of the Ba’ram tribes who were arrested during the recent clashes in Mayfa’a district, adding that they were unarmed  when they opened fire at them inside the prison.
