TAIZ, July 9 (YPA) – A prominent military leader loyal to the Saudi-led aggression coalition revealed has the involvement of security and military leaders of the Islah Party in drug trafficking in Taiz province.
Wajdi Al-Maqtari, one of the “22nd Maj.Gen. officer in the coalition forces, said on his Facebook page on Wednesday, that the leader in the Party in the so-called Taiz security was involved in smuggling and promoting drugs and hashish in many neighborhoods of the city of Taiz.
Al-Maqtari confirmed that several leaders of the security forces in the party killed the Salafi military leader in “Abu Abbas’ forces “Walid al-Ragheef, after he confiscated and burned a large amount of drugs and hashish in the city.
Walid al-Ragheef, the leader of the so-called Al-Kawthar Brigades forces in Al-Kawthar area of Cairo district of Taiz, was killed by the Saudi-backed Islah militants on June 28, 2020.
Several areas controlled by the coalition in Taiz city witnessed a massive demonstration during the past days calling for opening an investigation and the prosecution of people involved in killing of al-Ragheef.
