Two PKK members killed in clashes with Turkish army in northern Iraq

SANAA, July 6 (YPA) – The Popular Defense Forces (PDF) announced Sunday that two PKK members were killed in the Khoakork region on July 1, during a confrontation with the Turkish army.

“Fierce fighting broke out between its formations and the Turkish army in Armoush Square in the Khakurk region,” said the PDF in a statement, adding that “it has been able to strike hard at Turkey.”

“the two comrades had responded courageously to the enemy’s attacks and won the honor of martyrdom in defence of Kurdistan.”
