NCM warns against heat wave in coming hours

SANAA, June 15 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) warned on Monday citizens against a heat-wave over the coming 12 hours.
The center affirmed in its weather forecast that the high heat-wave would hit the coastal and desert areas in general, calling citizens to take shelter from warm and humid weather.

The center explained that the warm and humid weather to partly cloudy with the possibility of cumulative clouds might be formed on the interior areas adjacent to the southern coasts with moderate winds reaching its speed at 28 knots.

Extremely warm and dry weather to partly cloudy and forming medium and high clouds with winds moderating in its speed to 22 knots would target Mahra desert and Hadramout, the center added.
