2 Islah field commanders killed in Abyan

ABYAN, June 14 (YPA) – Two field commanders affiliated with Islah Party, named Ammar al-Hujairi and Ali Aidarous, were killed in confrontations with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias in Shoqra front in Abyan province, local sources reported.

Other sources added that elements of the STC ambushed pro-Islah military commanders in the vicinity of Akad camp in Ludar district.

The sources confirmed that the attack targeted an armored vehicle and a number of military cars, which led to the injuring of the Akad camp commander Abdullah al-Jalad and the leader Othman al-Zamki, as well as a number of their escorts.
