France records 24 new deaths from Corona virus

SANAA, June 14 (YPA) – France announced on Sunday that it recorded 24 new deaths caused by the Corona virus, a significant decrease in the rate of deaths from the disease on a daily basis.

The General Administration of French Health Affairs stated that the death toll from the virus in the country rose during the past 24 hours by 24 cases, compared to 28 on Friday, bringing the total number of victims so far to 29,398 cases, including 19014 in hospitals and 10384 in the homes of the elderly.

France is witnessing a continuous decline in the daily death rate, which has fallen below the level of 30 cases and remains below this level for the fourth consecutive day, after exceeding the level of 900-1000 in some days during the stage of the pandemic in the country.

The French General Administration of Health indicated that the number of people infected with the virus increased by 526 and reached 156813.

The Administration reported that the death toll from recorded infections with the virus increased by 343 new cases, to 153977, of which 70842 recovered.

The Administration pointed to the continuous decrease in the number of hospitalized patients, as the outcome decreased from 11124 to 10909, and a new decrease was recorded in the intensive care rooms from 879 to 871.

France is the 5th country in the world in terms of the number of deaths from the Corona virus and the 12th in terms of the death toll.
