245 cases of febrile diseases recorded in Aden in 2 days

ADEN, June 14 (YPA) – A report issued by the Cuban Hospital in the port city of Aden on Saturday revealed that 245 febrile cases were recorded and one death during the past 48 hours.

According to the report, the number of respiratory infection cases exceeded 70, of which 32 were female.

The number of suspected cases of the Corona virus (COVID-19) was 11, while 51 cases of dengue were recorded, the report added.

The report indicated to the registration of 71 cases of “chikungunya” disease, which is called locally “Mokarfes”.

On the other hand, the Corona Response Committee in Aden stated, earlier in the day, that 41 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 were recorded.

The committee explained that it recorded 19 cases in the city of Aden, in addition to 11 infection cases and one death recorded in the areas under the control of Saudi-led coalition in Taiz province.

Other sources reported that Dhalea province recorded 51 deaths during the past days.

The city of Aden is witnessing a wide spread of cases of infection and death due to Corona virus, as a result of the collapse of health services, amid hiding the numbers of real cases.
