Update: Saudi-led coalition wages four airstrikes on Hajjah

HAJJAH, June 12 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes resumed launching airstrikes on Hajjah province, a security official said on Friday.

According to the official, the aggression warplanes waged three airstrikes targeting Bani Hassan area in Abbs district, while another airstrike on Hiran district.

Earlier in the day, the coalition also conducted an airstrike on Mostaba district of the same province

Moreover, the aggression warplanes launched two airstrikes against al-Amashyah area in Harf Sufyan district in Amran province, while two other airstrikes on al-Khasaf area in Hazm district of Jawf province.

On Thursday, the coalition warplanes launched 33 airstrikes on a number of Yemeni provinces, 13 of which targeted different areas in Marib province, eight airstrikes on Saada, and eight others  against the  Nihem district in Sanaa province, as well as two raids on Jawf province and two raids on Jizan.

On Wednesday, at least three citizens were killed when the Saudi-led aggression coalition warplanes wage an airstrike on Saada province.

According to the official, the airstrike hit a car carrying citizens on the main road in al-Aqeeq area of Kitaf district, killing the three people inside and destroying the car completely.

Earlier in the same day, a Saudi warplane dropped a cluster bomb on a citizen’s house in al-Subaha area of Sana’a, injuring four family members, including two children.
