Military commander loyal to STC killed in Abyan

ABYAN, June 10 (YPA) – A senior commander of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in Abyan province was killed Wednesday in Abyan province, southern Yemen, local sources reported.

According to the sources, Mohammed Salam al-Subihi, staff officer of “Armor Company” in the 5th Battalion of the STC, was killed during an attack launched by Islah gunmen in al-Tarya area

Earlier in the day, the confrontations between the STC militias and the Islah militants have renewed intensively in Abyan province .
