Report: 57 coalition air strikes hit different provinces
SANAA, May 8 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition combat jets launched 57 air strikes on several provinces over the past 24 hours, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.
In the capital Sanaa, the fighter jets waged three air raids on the presidential office in al-Tahrair an Shaob districts, killing six people and injuring 90 others, including children.
In Saada, the Saudi air forces launched 10 air attacks on several districts of Baqim, Mjaz and nearby Saada city.
In Hodeidah, the fighter jets waged five air attacks on the international airport.
In Marib, the warplanes hit Serwah district four times.
In Hajjah, the combat jets targeted various areas of Medi and Harad districts fifteen times.
In Taiz, the aggression air forces waged 20 air raids on Mouza and Maqbanah districts.
The Saudi-led coalition have intervened in Yemeni internal affairs and waged a military action for four years in flagrant violations of the international conventions.
On Monday, the coalition warplanes waged two strikes on the presidential office in al-Tahrair district of the capital Sanaa, killing six citizens and wounding 90 others.
Last month, the coalition warplanes targeted a wedding party in Bani Qais area of Hajj province, killing 35 civilians and injuring 55 others, including 30 children.
The four-year-old coalition war on Yemen has killed over 10,000 Yemenis, mostly women and children, displaced more than 3 million, according to the United Nations.
