Rains accompanied with thunderstorms expected in 24 hours

SANAA, June 1 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected on Monday heavy rains accompanied with thunderstorms over the Yemeni provinces within the next 24 hours.

confirmed the instability of weather on the coasts and that the weather is ready for precipitation of varying intensity and intensity with during the next 24 hours.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast that the rainy weather would be prevailed over the provinces of Hadramout, Mahra, Shabwa, Lahj, Abayn, Aden and Socotra, with strong winds reaching speeds of up to 25 knots.

It explained that the weather in the mountainous highlands and the inner plateaus would be partly cloudy with the possibility of cumulative clouds and separate rains during the afternoon and evening periods.

The center warned citizens, fishermen and ship owners to take the necessary precautions from the valleys and streams of floods, and sea turbulence.
