SANAA, May 7 (YPA) – Emirati delegation arrived on Monday in the Sudanese capital Khartoum on a military trade visit, according to Sudanese media.
The delegation will held talks with the Sudanese Foreign and Defense Ministries, providing financial and political inducements to Khartoum to convince it to retract withdrawal of its troops from Yemen’s war, sources familiar with the matter said.
The UAE considers Sudan’s withdrawal from the Saudi-led Arab coalition a disaster for the coalition states and will led to dismantling its armies, the sources added.
Sudanese Minister of State for Defense said on Sunday that his ministry is conducting a comprehensive study to review and evaluate the participation of the Sudanese forces in the Yemen’s war under the command of Emirati officers.
Calls have been raised by some parties and parliamentary blocs in Sudan to demand the withdrawal of Sudan’s army troops from Yemen, after news circulated recently about large losses among Sudanese soldiers.
